Dr. Kari E. McGlothlin

 
Dr. Kari McGlothlin graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997.  She grew up on the north side of San Antonio and married her high school sweetheart, Scott McGlothlin, just before entering veterinary medical school.  They have two energetic little boys, Jared and Blake.  The four-legged members of the McGlothlin family include AnnaBelle, Periwinkle and Hop-a-Long Cassidy (who is actually three-legged). When not caring for her furry patients, Dr. McGlothlin enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, traveling, and working in her yard.
   

Dr. Jamie Milios Fehlis

  
Dr. Jamie Fehlis graduated with honors from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999.  She was born in New Jersey (but don’t hold that against her) and grew up in El Paso and then Midland, TX.  Dr. Fehlis came to work in San Antonio after graduation from veterinary school and soon met her wonderful husband, Chuck Fehlis.  They have two lovely children, Samantha and Luke. The Fehlis family also includes four furry members, Sebastian, Sullivan, Noah and Benjamin.  Dr. Fehlis enjoys gardening, kickboxing, swimming and jogging.
   

Heather Williams
Hospital Administrator

 
Heather is our Hospital Administrator and she has worked in the Human Resources field for over 15 years, half of those being in the veterinary field.  She was born at Ft. Hood in Killeen, TX and then moved to San Antonio shortly after.  Heather has an amazing husband, Cutter, whom she met in 1993 in her first semester of college.  They have two beautiful children, Cutter II and Cadence, that keep them very busy.  The family also has a new member - Sprocket the cat who was born here at Cibolo Canyons Veterinary Hospital. Heather enjoys spending time with her family, working out, horseback riding and traveling.
   
Chrissy Fikes
Registered Veterinary Technician		  

In 2009, Chrissy completed the academic program for an Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology. She passed her State and National Board exams and is now a RVT at Cibolo Canyons Veterinary Hospital.

Chrissy has an adorable daughter named Charlize. She also has a couple of great dogs – Dagwood and Maddie.

In her spare time, Chrissy enjoys spending time with her daughter and family.  She also likes to bake and travel.
   

Christa Moreland
Veterinary Technician

  

Christa has worked in the veterinary field for over 10 years. She has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from UT San Antonio.  Christa was born in Germany, but has lived in San Antonio since 1991. Her family is made up of a wonderful husband, Andrew, two dogs, Cheyenne and Lakota, and a turtle named Titus.  Christa enjoys the outdoors, traveling, baking, photography, and hanging out with family and friends. 

   
   
Donna Singer
Lead Receptionist		  

Donna was born in Ridgewood, NJ and moved to Texas in 1998. She received a Bachelors of Music/Teachers Certificate from SUNY and a Masters in Music Performance from NYU. She taught high school band and drama for 12 years before entering the veterinary field where she has worked since.

Donna's family includes her partner Linda, a dog Sparky, 5 cats – Taz, Dracqui, Kiki, Brady, Tessie and Tootles the bird.

Donna plays saxophone, keyboard and clarinet in a Pop-Rock Band at various local venues. She loves sports and travel.

   
Elizabeth Dominguez
Animal Care Supervisor
  

Liz has a varied background working with animals including the San Diego Zoo, California Wild Animal Park, Sea World of San Diego and Sea World of Texas.  Her current position is Kennel Manager at Cibolo Canyons Veterinary Hospital.  She is also pursuing a nursing degree.

Pets include several cats, a Jack Russell Terrier and Arabian Horses.

Liz enjoys many outdoor activities including camping, biking, bird watching, showing and riding Arabian Horses and scuba diving.  When not pursuing outdoor activities, she is an avid reader.
   
   

Christian Harris
Animal Care

  

Christian is a recent graduate of Johnson High School. In the future, he plans on pursuing a career in law enforcement. When he is not caring for the animals that are boarding with us here in our kennel, he likes doing just about anything outdoors! Christian has a dog named Pete who is a pug mix and 3 cats - a tabby named Oliver and two Russian Blue sisters named Abby and Emily.
   
Lauren Carrol
Animal Care 		 
Lauren is a recent graduate of Trinity University here in San Antonio. She hopes to become a veterinarian herself here in the near future and is in the process of applying to the veterinary school at Texas A&M University. Lauren is getting great experience for her future career here by caring for our boarding patients in the kennel and training as a veterinary technician assistant. She recently adopted an adoreable dog named Bernsie and is already in love with him (although the cute puppy in this photo is a patient of ours - not Bernsie!)
   
Bailey Ulrich
Receptionist		  
Bailey is currently a senior at Johnson High School. She will graduate in the spring of 2012 and is planning to attend Texas A&M University after graduation. Since she was a little girl, Bailey has dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, so hopefully she will attend the Veterinary Medical School at Texas A&M University after she completes her undergraduate studies. Bailey has two big dogs, a St. Bernard named Titan and a Basset Hound named Duke. She enjoys playing basketball for Johnson HS, playing the piano and spending time with her friends.
